FERIA Partnership
La Conferencia de la Asociación FERIA es una conferencia de un día, significativa, práctica, útil y productiva, cultural y lingüísticamente apropiada, para 300 padres, cuidadores y profesionales latinos que trabajan con estudiantes con necesidades especiales desde preescolar, kínder hasta bachillerato y adultos. El enfoque principal es la colaboración entre el hogar, la escuela y la comunidad. La conferencia es un esfuerzo colaborativo entre (F) Familias, (E) Educadores, (R) Recursos , (I) IES y (A) Agencias que trabajan juntos para ¡ÉXITO Estudiantil Igualitario! Nuestro objetivo es brindar a las familias del área de South Bay y San Diego información educativa para apoyar mejor la educación de sus hijos, el bienestar de la salud mental y el acceso a los recursos comunitarios.
Team of Advocates for Special Kids (TASK)
TASK es una organización sin fines de lucro que educa y capacita a personas con discapacidades y sus familias. Ayudamos a las familias a entender el proceso de educación especial. Promovemos la cooperación entre familias y escuelas. En nuestros Centros de Tecnología, ayudamos a las familias a explorar las opciones de tecnología de asistencia para aprender, comunicar y vivir sus mejores vidas.

FERIA Partnership
The FERIA Partnership Conference is a culturally and linguistically appropriate meaningful, practical and useful productive one-day conference for 300 Latino parents, caregivers and professionals working with special needs students from Pre-School, K-12 and Adults. A primary focus is on home- school-community collaboration. The conference is a collaborative effort between, (F) Families, (E) Educators, (R) Resources (I) IHE’s, and (A) Agencies working together = Equal Student SUCCESS! Our goal is to provide families in the South Bay and San Diego area with educational information to better support their children’s education, mental health well-being and access to community resources.
Team of Advocates for Special Kids (TASK)
TASK is nonprofit that educates and empowers people with disabilities and their families. We help families understand the special education process. We promote cooperation between families and schools. In our TECH Centers, we help families explore assistive technology options for learning, communicating, and living their best lives.

Burlington Clothes Factory Foundation Grant
- Helps fund the Youth Art Academy and the Parent Mental Well-Being Training Series. The trainer is Beatriz Hernandez, Clinical Psychologist. Co-Sponsored by the Bonita Optimist Foundation.
